Limited Flexible Spending Account
The Limited FSA reimburses you only for dental and vision expenses, and for medical expenses you incur after you have met your annual deductible.
For participants in a non-CMSU medical plan that does not have an annual deductible: The LFSA will only reimburse you for eligible dental and vision expenses. Please plan accordingly when you enroll in the plan.
You may contribute up to $3,300 per year to the Limited FSA.
Eligible expenses include:
- Medical expenses you incur after you have met your full family medical plan deductible (only if you are enrolled in a medical plan with an annual deductible)
- Dental plan deductibles
- Any dental or orthodontic expenses not covered by your plan
- Vision care expenses—including vision exams, glaucoma testing, eyeglasses and contact lenses—that are not covered by the vision plan
Expenses for cosmetic procedures and treatment are not eligible.
You can be reimbursed for eligible expenses at any time of the year up to the full annual contribution you elected.
