Eligibility and Enrollment
All regular full-time employees of Canon Medical Systems who are regularly scheduled to work 20 hours or more per week are eligible to participate. There is no waiting period.
To participate, you must specify how much of your pay you want to direct to one or both of the FSAs.
Your election must be made within 30 days of your hire date or during the annual Open Enrollment for benefits. If you do not enroll in the plan when you are first eligible, you must wait until the next Open Enrollment.
If You Have a Domestic Partner
Because the IRS generally does not consider domestic partners or their children to be eligible dependents, their expenses would not be considered eligible for reimbursement under the FSAs.
