How to Enroll

When you are first hired

New Canon Medical Systems employees make their benefits elections through the new hire onboarding system. Coverage is effective on your date of hire. Any delays in enrollment may affect your participation in these plans or require that you provide proof of good health to the insurance companies.

Once you make your benefit choices, you will not be able to make changes to your benefits coverage until the next Open Enrollment period, unless you have a qualified life event.

During Open Enrollment

Each fall during the specified Open Enrollment period, you make your elections through the online benefits enrollment system. At that time, we encourage you to visit the Open Enrollment Center for direct access to everything you need to make informed decisions about your benefits for the next calendar year.

Plans You May Enroll at Any Time of the Year

For the following plans, you may enroll at our benefit partners' websites at any time of the year:

529 College Savings Plan—visit the 529 enrollment website to enroll in the plan.
Commuter benefits—complete the Voya enrollment form and send it to the Benefits Department.
Pet insurance—visit the Wishbone website to enroll in the plan.
