Summary Plan Descriptions
If you're looking for more specific information about Canon Medical Systems USA, Inc. benefits—detailed benefit descriptions, coverage and eligibility provisions, and exclusions and limitations—you've come to the right place.
The Company has created these summary plan descriptions (SPDs) to be more reader-friendly than the official materials provided by our benefit plan partners. Every effort has been made to ensure that these SPDs accurately describe the terms of the plan booklets, documents, master contract, or trust agreement (i.e., "official plan documents"). In all cases, however, only the official plan documents control the administration and operation of the plans.
If a conflict arises between information in the SPDs and the official plan documents, the official documents will govern. Similarly, if any conflict arises between oral descriptions provided and the official plan documents, those documents will govern.
